the fan switch is on the radiator housing...you can just trace that wire and it should lead you to the relay...
unless someone here who has a manual that can post the exact location.

Its located in front of the air filter box. There are 2 relays there, IIRC one is the a/c clutch relay and the other is the cooling fan relay. They interchange for easy testing.
BTW, the radiator fan switch isnt on the t stat housing on any nonobd d series or b series, its screwed into the back of the block.

if you don't have A/C, you have one cooling fan relay which is located on the passenger side inner fender panel behind the battery - if you have A/C, you have 3 relays - one which is the same as if you didn't have A/C and 2 which are for the A/C condenser fan and one for the A/C clutch - these 2 are located on the passenger side end of the radiator support
