still Idle problem(IACV, FACV, EGR cleaned)searched..............
As the topic says i still have idle problem. I have cleaned IACV, FACV, EGR. This is how my problem goes. When on cold start my car idles about 750 for a second or so and then slowly rises to 1500-2000. This happens on cold start. And one more thing while on operating temperature while shifting gears when i push the clutch in the rpm increses( like if i am shifting at 2500rpm it rises to about 2700rpm).
do you have your vacume lines connected properly????? try disconnecting the EGR and see what happens???
Make sure there isn't coolant doesn't have air in it. Vacuum lines. For me, I had to replace the Fast Idle Valve.
same problem, cant figure it out right now..... but with (the weather mans) computer its fine... i dont know why... if i fix mine ill let you know

ok here is what i found today. When i started the car(cold), I took off the intake pipe and put my finger on the bottom hole in the throttle body which didn't bring the rpm to normal. Then when i put my finger on the top hole it was sucking a lot of air and when i put my finger on it the car stalled.
Isn't the top hole for the IACV?? I'm confused!! does this mean my IACV is screwed. Yea and just to let you guys know when i unplugged the IACV and tried to start it, it just wouldn't idle instead it would just die.
Thnax for all the responses.

don't know if this will help, but I had a very similar problem, my fix-thottle cable, the spring on the TB was not pulling it all the way closed, so when started in the morning I had a normal idle, but after working the throttle and driving, the plate wouldn't close all the way, and I had symptoms very similar to yours. Hope this helps
ok i tried unplugging the EGR but nothing happened it still idles the same way.
And one more thing hope its connected to my problem as my car has a lot of vapour coming throught the tail pipe(when cold). Checked the coolant level its normal.

ok here is what i did this morning. I completely blocked off the Fast Idle Valve. Then i put my finger on the bottom hole to see if it still sucks air, it still does. But even if i put my finger on the hole and block it, the idle is still the same.
Guys help me out i'm running out of ideas now.
