well, I got the car running and it was fairly quick, its a d16y7 bottom end witha z6 head, I only took the motor to 7500 a few times (stock p28) and mainly was shifting at 6k just because I wasnt used to it yet, after 2 days of driving it a little bit here and there the rod is knockin bad, do you think I may be able to get away with pulling the oil pan and taking the bearing out and replacing it? or do you think the crank is all f'd up too? is it worth a try? I know sohc bottom ends are cheap but i'd rather save all the damn time working on it...any suggestions would help, im hella pissed right now
