How Do you install Rod Bearings into a SOHC D16 Block without taking motor
Just wondering and for others with this problem how to install Rod Bearings into a SOHC D16 block without taking complete motor out... Post your Studies or knowledge so others that need to learn or know like me will know how to so this wont be posted more then once.

There's no way to do it. The rod bearings depend upon the crank journals and rod/caps to be a consistent diameter and finish to work properly. You'd be a lot better off just yanking the thign out of there and doing it right. If you need rod bearings the mains aren't far behind and you have to have the block align-honed for that. Futhermore, all the other components are probably in need of help, too.

these cars are like 1000 peice puzzles every thing just sort of falls in to place it looks big but with some time and effort its easy just looks hard
pluss the eg's have alot of room under the hood so no issues there just remember to T bag (tag and bag every nut bolt bracket or what ever else you remove) every thing it will make every thing easier for the first time install
