Cliff Notes Version:
Wear your seatbelt stupid!!
Long Version:
Exactly... Not wearing your seatbelt is like saying: "I won't wear my seatbelt because I would much rather fly out of the windshield at 50+ mph."
I mean seriously, what kind of excuse is good enough to not wear a seatbelt?
Come on people. It isn't THAT uncomfortable to wear it - and why would you risk your life over being a tad bit more comfortable? People will say all day long that it won't happen to them (being thrown out of a car during an accident), but I'm sad to say that 80% of those who had that unlucky circumstance aren't alive to go back in time and change their decision. If they aren't dead, they're crippled and/or go through serious therapy to even be able to walk again.
It also isn't worth the $90+ ticket and a ding on your driving record if a cop see's you not wearing it. I used to not wear my seatbelt - until the day I got that ticket (It was on the way home from work - a whole 1 mile drive). It's like second nature now - as soon as I enter ANY vehicle, seatbelt goes on before I even start the car.

Damn son, you asked the wrong question in the wrong forum. If you care at all about your life or saftey you will wear the seat belt, but if you must "look cool" then just cut the buckle off and plug it in. "Ghetto rig to the max"

WAIVER: I accept no responsability for the lack of intelligence of 2006PwPDc5 and I in fully do support the idea of wearing the seatbelt in any car. If an accident occurs and the driver is lacking the belt THAT SAVES YOUR LIFE I accept no responbsability.
Just to be clear. lol

I had an aftermarket steering wheel, and to my knowledge I thought the bags won't deploy if your seatbelt is not on.

They were talking about it but there were so many arguments they threw out the idea, but in newer cars they will BEEP LIKE HELL if you don't put it on, and the same for the passenger too. Not a little Ding, ding ding, a ding on crack will let you know. lol

Maybe it's because the original poster has put a harness into his RSX and hasn't figured out how to disable the seatbelt beeper.
Then I'm thinking -- why bother with a harness unless you're going really fast while autocrossing and/or on a circuit and need it to keep you in place during really hard cornering & braking and to keep you from hitting the SCCA-spec roll cage that you've got installed?
