well for about the last two or three weeks i have noticed a roar comming form my rear tires. everthing is stock ride height, rims and tires i took a look and its seems to be the inner tread is wearing out. could the rear shocks be bad allowing the tires to bounce??? or could the tires be out of alighment or out of balance? its a 01 honda prelude please let me know what it could be befor i start spending money

 

sounds like you have a camber problem

 

go get an alignment

 

the wear on the inside tread looks like every other one is wearing out a tire bounceing does not cause this like a shock is bad???

 

I have the exact problem, it's not a usual camber wear, but the inside treads look just like you explained. Reminds me of a saw blade with the teeth

 

toe-out causes the feathering you're describing.

so a alighment should do the trick. but the tire are like saw balde in the inside tread.

 

go get an alignment
