since i have been looking for this part for a while now i am just wondering if i can use the Civic SI one's. i know the PN are not the same but does anyone knwo if i can use that on my ITR motor? thing is this.. i tried to use the NonVtec one's but CEL came on every now and then.. it's really annoying. i do know the fact lots of parts from SI B16a are interchangeable with B18cs that's why i am asking~

convert to OBD-1 and you wont need it

 

i can tell you that i ran the ITR solenoid in my b18c5 swapped EK, and I ran a 2000 Si ECU sometimes and never though a purge control solenoid code, so i know it works in reverse. i would bet it would work just fine the way you are asking.

Well yeah it doesn't.. i have CEL came on every 2 days all during the morning cold start, then brought it to the shop came out with 2 codes and the machanic told me it's the purge valve so he swap the wires in reverse and see if it works but still no luck~ (the puge was different so he strip the wires and just pin them in)
