It's real. I remember the article. I remember specifically that they used the regular exhaust manifold for the turbo. It's a very very old car. Alot of stuff was developed on it.

Do you know when the issue was from?
I'd like to read up on this, and if Corky Bell worked on it, why does it only have 170hp?

I just asked him how much he was looking to get for it and this is what he said.

"Honestly I think its worth a pretty penny. I'm confident I will get my reserve by how many inquires and questions I got in the last 24 hrs.
$10-15,000 in between or maybe more if a bidding war happens at the end.
There are only One of these. Being in a book and two mags helps."

Thanks
Mike

Also I would like to know what the heck a bonded title is.
How can someone source a CRX and not have documentation?

That is tempting. I'd like to buy it just to own another Xenon kit (along with the mint interior and roll bar)...
It is strange that he would lack documentation on such a car.
I wonder what the maintenance has been?

I keep looking at this and the more I see it the more I realize...that is a bad *** CRX
If it isin fact authentic, I'd say $10k is well worth it (if it was maintained in storage)

I guess you kids are too young to remember this car. I cannot remember which article and I certainly don't have it now, but that is the real deal.

It seems I remember that car being for sale a few years ago on Autotrader for 10K.

Did I see it was also running an FMU? Maybe some new software would help bring it up to 2006 specs.

I remember this car from way back in the day.

Very nice! Looks like it's been well taken care of too.

Definately a piece of import history, this car was built when no one else was building Hondas... and still only 12k?!

I think one problem of this "Bonded Tile" is that you probably can't run a CarFax but it is strange because it has a low sequence number in the vin that is listed. Like 1100's.

Man, with these people on here vouching for it; I wouldn't be so sceptical. That is an awesome car. If you got the $$$$$ ****** it up.

I have the cash but he is in CT. That would be a bit of a drive. I might get it. IDK.
I'll just lay in the weeds and think about it.
Nice avatar Bart.

I remember that car, and I'd totally buy it... However I wouldn't trust for a second that the person who put up that auction acctually has the car. He might but its not uncommon for people to sell stuff they dont have. Over on RX7Club we see OUR OWN CARS being "sold" on ebay all the time... One guy has had his car "sold" on ebay about 8 times now LOL. Like I said it COULD be legit, but with the bad spelling and lack of feedback I wouldnt be giving him a pile of MY money.
