put the head gasket on nad put it all back together and now it still smokes and has very little power it feels like when i drive any help?

 

Did you check the head to make sure it was straight. Did you re-use the head bolts.

 

I dont mean to sound mean or anything but most of the people who dont know whats wrong with their cars, shouldnt swap/install/replace their heads themselves...Now, car runs bad eh? Are you using stock head gasket, bolts, etc?

Can you give specifics on what was wrong with the car before, for you to want to swap the head? What exactly did you do, etc?

 

i agree with these guys my rex smoked and i took it into the shop they change the head bolts and no more smoke
