Question About Milling Head to Gain Compression. (searched)

Default Question About Milling Head to Gain Compression. (searched)

Some people have beeen telling me that i can Mill my head down to achive the compression i want.

I have a JDM H22a 10.5-1 Compression i belive,
Looking to raise the compression to 12.5-1 people are telling me instead of Pistons that i can mill the head to achive this goal, is this ok to do, woulnt it have to be milled quite a bit to get this, TY for your help.

You're really going to f up your head if you mill it enough to get 2 points of compression.

Actually I believe your compression by default is closer to 10.6:1..

and no, I honestly doubt you could mill enough of your head to bump up compression by THAT much..

yea 10.6 my fault.. i though that it was too much to mill... ty

i think 11.5 is the max for just milling the head.

I would stay safe and reliabe and get pistons... supposedly the mahle golds I think can be run without sleeving

lol yeah mill the head for 12.5:1.....lol....and get a custom timing belt while youre at it
