That is the most retarded thing I've ever heard HIDs draw way less current. I hope that you just trying to be funny. I have HIDs in JDM housing, I'm selling them and just getting good bulbs though. I get brighted all of the time.

if you retrofit a projector into a stock headlight with the fluited glass it will be ok, it wont have the cleanest cutoff ever but it will still be a cut off and not glare
ive never seen a aftermarket projector headlight for a honda that didnt suck major ***, they all have shitty light ouput and horrible cutoffs
if you put HID into your stock unmodded headlight its gona glare like a ************, and be dangerous to everybody around you
the only 2 options IMO are retrofit stock headlight, or retrofit a aftermarket headlight

CRX_Bart is right...if you thouogh HIDs were all about the best light output, you'd be wrong. The big selling points are also cooler running, less power consumption and the tech factor.

Even if this statement was true, most alternators can produce more then 12 volts, to supply them...12 volts is merely the battery power/normal draw for the car.
