Default Question about Valve adj.

What happens if you don't get your valves adjusted every 15K-20K miles? Is there a loss in HP? Please let me know asap because I'm 10K over it.

If you can hear excessive noise in the valve cover area then have them adjusted. Do you mean your car has like 25K on it and you have never adjusted the valves? If so I would do it for safety sake, but if you have done it in the past and there are no strange noises then I wouldn't worry about it too much.

My car has 51K miles and the last time i did it was 25K miles ago. So far there are no noises from valve cover.

I was just lookin in the honda manual and they only reccommend it at 100,000miles(pretty sure) seems like a long time, but last time I was in with both civics they said they sounded good.
