Default trouble with installtion rear brake pads

I just installed new brake pads on the rear left side and when the car was on the jack i tried the emergency brake but the wheel still turned with no resistance but when i applied the normal brakes the wheel wouldnt turn (by the way i turned the piston all the way in). Did i do something wrong or the piston or something just would reset and the emergency brake will start working? Also while i was trying to open one of the bolts on the right rear side, i warned out the bolt and wasnt able to open it, so what should i do??? thanks in advance

and if that doesn't work just tighten it up.

the bolt i am reffering to is one of the two bolts that you have to unbolt to take the caliper off to get to the pads. I was trying to unbolt it but i think i messed it up, it feels too round, so what should i do to take it off? thanks for the help guys

get some a lock wrench and clamp it to the bolt as tight as possible. Then turn it.

so basically you are saying that you rounded off the bolt? Where you using a 14mm?

Sometimes you can get a socket one size smaller than the stripped bolt and hammer it on tight and it will loosen...

if you have an old worn 10mm that you dont need, hit it on the 12mm socket to get grip and them undo it.

you will most likely kill the bolt (which is already stuffed) and you might screw the 10mm piece (which is why i suggested an old one
