the question is how much are u willing to spend for a suspension? in my honest opinion i wouldnt go with teins, i would go with eibach sportlines. the eibachs would lower about 1.7 in the front and 2.0 in the back. and if you wanna upgrade your shocks i would suggest koni yellows.
I would seriously consider doing some research before you spend the $$ on some lowering springs that slam your car. You're just asking for an ill-handling car.

what's wrong with s-tech? My friend has some s-techs paired up with some tokico blues and his car looks and drives great. If that still isn't what you're looking for then spend some money on some D2's or maybe even look into Tein's suspension kit line. Those are sure to satisfy your slamming needs, but mite leave a hole in your pocket

Most springs will only go to about 2 inches max. (The companies don't want to listen to people whine about bottoming out and clearance) I know that skunk2 spings will only lower 2 inches also. If you want to slam it then get coilovers, then when you realize how crappy the ride and clearance is you can raise it back up. But whatever you do get ready to shell out coin to make it all work, the lower you get the less room the wheel has to move.

well look, in my mind all the time is koni/neuspeed race. however, i wanted to look for other options, to see maybe if i could go tein or another brand. i still dont understand eibach dropping it more in the back, looks wierd to me.

They give you a spring tha lowers it more in the rear to make the car sit level. If you look at it now the back end sits higher on stock springs.

It is all in the eye of the beholder. Most of the time when someone is looking for just lowering springs they arn't concerned with the performance, they are looking for looks and to a judge level=points. Areo wise it doesn't really matter unless you're taking a sweeping turn hauling ***. If you wan't the best of ride, looks, adjustability and performance it is going to cost some pretty coin but you need either a dank set of coilovers for about a grand+ or get some fully adjustable shocks that are compatable with an adjustable coilover spring set up. Either way it is going to cost. The problem with springs is they can't be adjusted and there are only so many different ones and most of the time they are the same thing with a different brand. Bluntly, go coilovers or suck it up.

get coilovers or get bigger rims to compensate the gap. im running on s.techs and they ride just fine. the front sits about a finger gap up front and a finger gap in the rear. so if you got the cash drop them on some nice coilovers like buddy club or some other ones.
The Tein Flex'es will give you the lowest drop since the bodies are adjustable independently of the spring. Personally I am holding out for the Tein Mono Flex when they hit the USDM later this year.
As far as where to purchase, here is a small list that carry Tein's full lineup.

This is pretty popular, a lot of cRSXers swear by it.
Then again, it's probably also because cRSX sells it on their website.
At any rate, there's no point in slamming your car all the way. I wouldn't want anything more than a moderate drop for my car - like an inch to a inch and a half all the way around.
(What's sad is the other day, my boyfriend parked his RX-7 next to my RSX, and when I was looking at it from the side, I couldn't see the RX-7 at all.)
