Default EGR valve...

ok, so I am in the middle of my h22 swap, and the swap I bought had an EGR valve block-off plate...and I was just looking at the EgR valve that came on my f22...it is realy dirty, so is it necessary to run the EGR valve? Im sure I will throw a code. emmissions I dont have to worry about b/c I live in the land of no emmisions.

It will not throw a code as long you have it plugged in (for OBD1)...do what you want to from there. Mine is tucked down low in the bay suspended by zip ties.
