Skunk2 Shift Knob
I'm deciding between this and this Razo **** which is 3.25" tall. I like that the S2 **** is shorter, but it's bare metal; how bad does it get in summer and winter?

I had both a Razo and the Skunk2. Yes, the Sk2 **** will get hot especially during the summer. But the Razo has black with red stitching. It compliments a JDM ITR shift boot if you have it and a nice feel when shifting. It fits more comfortably than the Sk2.

That Razo shift **** is ugly as hell. Who cares if it's metal? Wear gloves if it's too cold/hot?

Comfort first. Don't have to wear gloves/cover the **** in summer + better feelwhile shifting. I'm ordering the Razo. Thanks for your input

Haha, that means it's an M10X1.5, meaning it's 10 millimeters in diameter, with 1.5 threads per milimeter.

Thats a stock shifter (JDM ITR) I didnt want to use the locking nut that came with it as they look ugly and leave the shift **** sitting high, so i cut the top thread of the shifter (after test fitting the shift **** and finding the numbers were upside down when tight) and re-fitted **** and it was still off, so i dremelled the top thread and kept test fitting the **** till the numbers lined up straight when on tight. It took a about 4 or 5 test fits to get it right, but it was worth the time in the end up.

I love the feel/weight of my skunk2 short shifter with skunk2 ****. But be warned, it will freeze your hand in the winter and burn you in the summer. I carry a pair of racing loves in my car just for this.

Thanks. That was going to be my next question.
I have the problem now. I don't like the locking nut either. So, you literally kept removing couple mm of the top of the thread until it locked flush?
