Default Wire tuck experts, quick question.

I started doin my wire tuck and engine bay shave. All the pass side plugs are pulled inside, and I'm about to start welding holes. Now for the driver's side, what do you do with the wiring comming through there? Pics would be a great help. I'm guessing the engine wiring plug, and brake MC wires need to stay, but I should seperate the headlight/indicator wired, and run them back inside, then through he framerail. Does this sound right? Thanks in advance. Yes I have searched, and have not found a picture of this.

If I didn't think I was capable of doing it, I wouldn't attempt it. Everything will be soldered, heat shrinked, flex loomed, and taped. I'm not a ricer that half asses ****, like most of the people you talk down to. The only reason I'm doing this, is because the K swap uses new wiring throught the bay anyway. I f I didn't have to change a bunch of crap to start with, I wouldn't do the shave, but I'm gonna do it now, and weld all the unused holes shut too. Even though it is not a show car by any stretch of the term, but if I'm going to do something it will be done right. IF I have a ground problem you can say I told you so, but I highly doubt it.

Its real ez man. You can run the wires around the fender (as seen in my stg2 thread). Then, for the wiper motor, and the MC you can run those to the bay on there own.

I got all of that, and I have no wiper so I don't need to do that. I'm just wondering about the engine harness plug on the driver's side. You need to hurry up, and finish your and take lots of pics, so I have a template to copy off of.

The eng harness plug on the drivers side can come into the cabin. Do you have a si? If so, that plug will be left disconnected

Yes I have an Si. Should I just go ahead and remove that wiring from the car? I wanna simplify things as much as possible, and I don't want a bunch of plugs dangling unplugged. I still have to remove the rest of my HVAC system wiring, wiper wiring, washer system wiring, and sun roof wiring. I bet I'm gonna save 10lbs in just wire. What is the plug on the driver's side for anyway injectors?

oh, dont eliminate the other shock tower plugs though... You need the ugly grey plug with the lithiam greese in it, and the 6 pin... The PNP harness will use those... They will also use like 7 wires at the ecu

sweet I have all the plugs on the driver's side intact and pulled inside. I scored a virgin non-ac block off plate at the yard today. One less hole to fill. I'm gonna work on the driver's side plug tomorrow now.
