It used to click, now it doesn't make any noise. The search is down, and I'd like some recommendations,

Here's what I've tried.

Checked the battery and recharged it, replaced starter, checked fuses.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

have you tried to roll-start it?

 

Ignition Coil maybe?

 

a faulty ignitor or coil could also cause this.

 

checked the connections on the battery and the starter? maybe the spade terminal on the starter itself fell off?

 

so the car is cranking but not turning over then?

 

There is a small black wire that runs across the transmission and connects to the starter solenoid. This wire carries the signal from the ignition switch for turning on the starter motor. Check to make sure the wire doesn't have a bare spot and is shorting out on the transmission case. My 3rd gen did exactly that.
