tach signal, ok to use the white wire? (B15)

Default tach signal, ok to use the white wire? (B15)

I'm hooking up serveral sensors to a datalogging device, it's a long story but I would rather get the signal from the ECU area. just wonering if the white wire @ B15 @ ECU is exactly the same as the blue wire that goes to the cluster?

The wires are not spliced in the wiring diagram, they come very seperate terminals on the ignitor. Why did honda do this? is it ok to tap into this signal?

nm, this is where a apexi VAFC gets the signal.

That's the ignition output signal. The ecu uses it to tell the igniter when to fire the coil.

Thanks for the 411! I wonder if it will have any sort of undesirable offset?
