Default 03 civic ex....ecu change?

what ecu does the 03 ex have...is there a way to change it to obd1 with a p28 or something like that?? can you puta d16 camshaft in it? or are d17 in a whole seprate class?

Nothing is swappable between the D17 and previous models. They're of completely different design, unfortunately. The closest you can get, is modifying a y8 intake manifold to fit the D17, so you can get rid of the plastic one that comes stock. The same goes for the ECU, they're not alike.
