It is only dependant on your injectors. If you keep the pre-obd (obd0) injectors, you need to keep the resistor box. You can run these with any ecu. Same thing on the OBD1 injectors....you can use them w/o the resistor box on the pre-obd (obd0) ecu..

you can get rid of the charcoal canister. just leave the EVAP sensor vent to open air and plug the fuel vapor return line. i've done that and no problems so far.
