GSR tranny appart, is it ok to brake clean the gears etc.?

Default GSR tranny appart, is it ok to brake clean the gears etc.?
I have my GSR tranny appart inspecting berrings etc. and I want to know if its ok to brake clean out the gears, berrings, shaft diff. to remove any metal or crap that could be in there.

I dont think brake clean would hurt the berrings but I just wanted to ask to make sure

no it should be fine as long as you let them dry off before reassembly.
