use a TypeR throttle cable and throttle bracket for a clean install.

BTW: Search next time or go to the Skunk2 thread in the FAQ

I have a gsr motor with a skunk2 manifold. I never had problem once. Only thing is running the p72 ecu on it wont make alot of power cause the the skunk2 im is a single stage runner while the p72 ecu has a secondary butterfly. You can take it to a local tuner shop and disable the secondary butterly or just get a p28 chip with a custom base map for your car. With the skunk im on, it pulls better on high rpm.

No problem with the manifold swap on my GS-R, but buy a Blox instead. It's cheaper, you'll get them on ebay for $175.

you need ITR TB cable and ITR TB holder and ITR TB pully. otherwide it will hit the hood.

for OBDI not required. for OBDII 97-01 need to setup ECU for dis program the 2ndery butterfly.

it all depends

if u want ur GSR stock strut bar, u need ITR throttle pulley, cable and bracket, otherwise the stock unit will interfere.

if u dont have a GSR strut bar, the GSR OEM stuff will work ok, but will look out of place.

if u have a GSR AEM CAI with a bypass, your intake will still work A-OK. other GSR intakes im not sure.

this is what u get when u use GSR throttle pulley, cable and bracket, and the OEM GSr strut bar:

it will rub like crazy

Just to clear something up...the throttle body pulley can be from any non-GSR throttle body. I used an LS pulley, ITR cable and bracket. Never had a problem with it.

ls cable and bracket work just fine with out changing the pullely

u can even use the stock gsr temporarily but it will hit the hood and casue the throttle to stick at about 3krpm

or use the stock pulley and cable and make your own bracket, its very very easy, and can look very clean as well

personally i think the gsr intake manifold is better, it has more torque for low end (the whole reason for the secondary butterflies)
i put a skunk2 on my car when it was NA, and took it off after a week, lost so much mid and low end power, not worth it

Yup you do lose low end power but you gain more high end power than stock.

the where is the horsepower gain? the key operating range for skunk2 intake manifolds is 7000-10,000 rpm, you will not see any gain below that, for the few hundred rpm you are in before shifting with stock internals
