Default Distributor problem.

Yes, i have done the allmighty search without any luck.

My distributor has ceased to deliver spark to my plugs. Therefore it doesnt ignite anymore.

Im clueless. I've checked all fuses, i've measured the wirings, checked all connections. Still no answers to be found. Any suggestions?

Have you checked to make sure the rotor is still attached? I know it sounds stupid but its happened. Also, check your ignitor and make sure it is within spec.

ignitor?

I've tried more than one distributor, and even tried other rotor caps on the newest one.

No change.

tell me about the ignitor.

The ignitor sits inside the distributers so i don't think that is the problem if you are swapping out distributors.

Well if you've replaced the distributors, let's scratch that...

Humor me this and just replace the 10/15 Amp fuse for the ECU and give it a try.

i checked all the fuses. But though, the fuse may be bad even if its not visible.

I dont have a diagram over the fuses in the "cockpit" (dont remember the word so bear with me).

Anyone have a picture?

Cheers.

If you swear to god that you already checked all the wiring than the only other thing that I can see in the diagram for the circuit is the ignition switch. That is where the igniter gets its power from.

ok you swear all wiring is correct I'm assuming ground too that eliminates that problem, only if you're correct though.

you swapped dizzy's also didn't work that rules that out.

you swapped ecu's that rules that out.

as long as all the wiring is correct than the only other component left in the circuit is the ignition switch. That is where the dizzy gets power from.

I still think it's the wiring though
