appreciate it, i jsut ordered an 8.5lb flywheel and stage 3 6puck clutch kit, how much will that pick up in my times? i have also ordered an aluminum underdrive pulley about 1.5 lbs.
The lighter flywheel may actually slow down a 1/4 time due to all that jazz about rotating inertia and such. I think it was Mista_bone who tested the difference between an 8# and 12.5# flywheel in the quarter. Now cancel the silly aluminum underdrive pulley though if you want your motor to last. A motor of mine went toast, i.e. a good 80% of the bearings failed at once and the previous owner had a shiny "blue" pulley on there.
