turbing out the frontend of a em1
I picked up a 2000 em1 with the frontend being ripped off. I know that sounds bad but its not. But fromt he shock towers on back the car is stright as an arrow. So my question is would it be worth it to tube out the front of this car and hang all my body panels and head lights and front bumper. also this car will be a some what daily/drag car. also if anyone has tube out a honda and lives in the midwest area give me some price's on what this may run me....thanks also will be posting pic;s to give you all a heads up
you are easily looking at 2 grand for a chassisshop to tube the front, mount your lights/ bumper, fenders, hood, mount the latch, rad support....etc...
if i were you, look around for framerails, and a rad support. drill out the spot welds and weld the new **** on.
honestly though.....take it to an autobody shop.......its gonna cost ya. but at least it "should" be on right.
save the tube **** for a race car

A daily driver is a car that is actually driven daily as the sole mode of transportation. A streetable car is one that can be driven on the roads if necessary.

Yes the plan was to make a it a weekend car where if there was a show i could drive it to the show and that was it. The car would drive like a shifter kart.
