Default clutch, burnt or just hot?

i know everyone knows that in the mornings when its nice and cold, the clutch and the whole car performance is really really good, now i drive alot, maybe 70 miles a day sometimes, my clutch then always starts slipping in the middle of the day, but dont know if it's just really hot that it slips or is it because i just need a new clutch, i just installed it like august of last year, so it should'nt give out right?...
it like really starts slipping but when i turn it off and let it cool off a bit, it has good grip, im runinng a father and sons stage 2 clutch with ITR flywheel

hmm..did you adjust the pedal before? if so, preload is done right? it is possible there is air in the line.

It is probably just hot, i have a clutchmasters street disc clutch and a lightened flywheel, it grips awesome when i drive alone or with one passenger, but it starts to slip after about 30 minutes of driving if i have more than two other people in the car. the grip comes back if the car sits for a while.

Sounds like it's going...my clutch used to do the same; it would get hot after intense driving and "cool down". Then one day it just went completely, slipping in 2nd and ****.

wtf crystalizing thats complete b/s, is it a st 1 they some times where out fast especially if its an ebay clutch, b/c there are alot of almost un-dectable rip-off clutches on the market.
i have seen act,cm, and exedy ripped off allready.

did u break your clutch in properly???

there really nothing to go wrong with the clutch that would effect slipping, besides wear. the only thing is if the peadal is dis-engauging the clutch lightly all the time aka preloading it indeffinately.

a leaking slave or master may cause it not to come out of gear or casue excessive wear but the damage will have allready been done if its slipping

i have seen many people toast stage one acts in just a couple of weeks, mainly b/c they turbo cars pushing too much tq

If you just had it installed, do you have a warranty on it? Who did the install?

What kind of driving are you doing that's making it overheat? Highway, city with bad stop and go, etc? Do you feather the clutch much when you're letting it out? You don't ride with your foot on the pedal do ya?
