Default can i overtighten my crankshaft pulley bolt?

i need to spin my crank to reach TDC, and when i spin the crank counterclockwise the crank bolt comes off. i want to rotate the crank clockwise, but im afraid of overtightening the bolt and stripping out the crank or something like that.

Lemme know, ASAP... thanks!

well the specs are 181ft/lbs on the prelude, 130 sounds like d or b-series territory. im trying to spin the crankshaft while the car is out of the engine via the crankshaft pully bolt and it just tightens, never spins.

It sounds like you have some clearance issues with bearings.
