I just installed my GC's and Koni Yellows, and went out for a test drive and proceeded to knock a few teeth out. Do the Yellows come from the factory set at full stiff? I hope so, and how do I adjust the damping with the ****. Do you have to remove the nuts from the top middle of the shock under the hood and the hatch to turn the shock rod, because it won't turn with the nuts, and weight on the car. I hope they get softer than what they are now, because damn they are like riding on no shocks.
Thanks guys,
Jon

I just adjusted the fronts to half stiff, and they feel pretty good and like they are damping with the springs, but I set the back at half stiff, and it is still bouncing like hell. Is that what I need to do to find the best ride quality, find the damping that matches my spring rates on the Koni's? Will the car feel bouncy if the shock is not damping with the springs, because if I can't get rid of the rear bounce, I'm gonna rupture some discs in my back! Please help me out. The front feels fine now at half stiff, and it moves some when I push on the corner with my hand, but the rears don't. Why would the rears not be able to push down with my hand? Help
Thanks,
Jon

Set it to full soft and gradually work your way up in 45 degree increments. Funny you describe how the ride is bad. I have my Konis 45 degrees from full stiff at the rears...bumpy, but bearable once you get used to it.
push down?
I just slap on the **** and turn 'em in the proper direction like it shows on the white ****.
my civic is stiff as FAWK at full stiff, and very jarring/limited bounce distance ..like a roller coaster on speed.
at full soft it actually is drivable faster over rough roads/curvy/up and down conditions.

What spring rates are your GCs? Did you get custom oredered spring rates, or just the "regular" one they sell for GSRs? That could have a lot to do with the stiff ride. Just put 'em back to full soft and adjust from there. It'll take some time to test 'n tune to find out what you like/what works best.
