Is it ok to use stuff like PB Blaster on the header bolts?

Not sure how tight these bolts will be and I'd rather let it soak in penetrating spray overnight. just wondering if it's ok to use on these bolts?

 

i dont see why not, sounds like a good idea to spray them before hand, maybe do it a couple times.

 

pb blaster is some great stuff man always have a can of that handy. it will be perfect for removing header bolts I just did that yesterday when removing mystock manifold.

 

its same was WD-40, but better. so no problem. just wipe off later that can cause fire

 

actuially, it will work best hot, let the header warm up, then spray it on the bolts, let it sit, and do it again. The only way it will catch fire is if its exposed to open flame. Its the aerosol that is most combustable, the actuial oil is just flamable, not explosive, so at worst, you just gotta blow it out

 

the header bolts shouldn't be that tight. just be aware of rust. turn wrench slowly and make sure to keep it straight. can use penetrating spray if needed.
