Default JDM Integra SIR-G??

Got into a small accident that ended up with a bent radiator top support...so was thinking that it's time to do a conversion...or get it back to OEM. But anyways...I have a 94 Integra USDM.

I am planning on converting the front end into a Type R...but noticed that there's a SIR-G that looked pretty similar.

What's the difference between these 2?

If I get the SIR-G...can a ITR hood fit into it??(Because trying to get the hood Carbon fiber)

sir-g = same as USDM GS-R.

The headlamp housings are chrome instead of black.

yes, an ITR hood will fit.

SO the only difference is the housing for the headlights...type R being black housing...but everything else should be the same(as in the radiator supports).

So inturn I can get a SIR-G conversion and be able to buy black housing Typr R headlights and swap them out.

Also...the wiring for the SIR-G...are the plugs for the lights compatible with the US version? Or is there any difference at all? Looks like I'll go with this conversion...but wanna know if there's any issues or steps that are needed. My friend's dad is a mechanic...so he's gonna weld and put the pieces together...but he's mainly a mechanic for old muscle cars.

Thanks for the info.

check hmotorsonline.com they got the best price on front end

if you wanan buy the front end is better to buy with black housing with it, instead of buying seperately, cuz is ognna cost alot for the headlight itself. and yes sirg is chrome, and is missing the lip. type r have everything

Cool, thanks a lot.

But the question about wiring from the headlights...is it all easily compatible with the US version...so I can just plug and play?

No they are not just "plug and play". It all has a common ground but you will need seperate power wires for each light. The low beam plug is compatible with the JDM lights but the plug for the high beam, citylight, and fog light is not. You will just have to play around with it a little bit to figure out which is which. Good luck! I did my conversion not too long ago and it was a breeze.

This link helped me out alot when i did mine.

He tells you the correct hook up for the lights.
