Default Transmission question.

I'm in the process of getting a transmission for my d15b2. It's a 91 sedan auto, I'm getting a 87 transmission from a crx auto. Will this transmission fix perfectly?

It should bolt up , there both D series blocks. Just make sure you get a clutch for the Rex so it will match the splines. Sorry to hear that it's a auto .

i was confused because you were talking about a clutch.

anyways... i think the trans mount location is different on the 1g crx trans. it will bolt on the motor but you may have fitment issues with mounts.

Yeah, I don't think it will fit, since you can't fit a d15b2 in a 1g without a mount kit.

I have an auto tranny but I'm on the other coast,

^ Hmm is this 100% reliable information that the transmission won't fit?
