Default factory 97 integra alaram, how do i get the alarm off silent mode?

I want my alarm to honk when i active/deactivate the alarm. How do I program the remote it to do this? I acidently programmed it to do this about a week ago, but I when trying to figure it out, it went back to silent mode. I searched, but I'm not sure what exactly i'm seaching. I'm sure its already been posted before.

Thanks,
Nick

Why not go to a dealer and get the owners manual for the alarm, or have them print off the instructions for the chirp defeat? 94

It's fairly simple....if you have the operations manual.

"Re: factory 97 integra alaram, how do I get the silent mode off", [although I'm sure he meant alarm] so it's very unlikely it is a DEI and pretty sure it's an Alpine and Alpines OEM alarms are diff. then their aftermarket alarms in a number of ways, one of them being the user programmable features, [like horn conformation beep] so the dealer is the best place to find the info, unless someone on H/T has that alarm and knows how to change it, or has the manual.
That person would have to read the original post and post the answer.

Two more things, for Sinner, because NVturbo brought it up, are you sure it's a "factory" alarm? If so, you probably could have got the info from a dealer by now. 94

yea its very rare to have a factory alarm in a 97, but it seems who ever originally bought this car, got all the upgrades possible. The alarm says honda on it and fob says acura/honda and it has a stock wiring harness for it.

But you are right, I need to contact the dealer.
