Default MPFI swap running rich

has anyone ever had this problem, ive done the mpfi swap, running a pm6 ecu, stock si injectors, brand new si dizzy, z6 mani, oem map sensor, everything pretty much stock, or oem si stuff...but my autometer a/f guage is showing im runnin really rich, like almost off the guage, and my gas mileage is around 28 mpg, with a good bit of highway

pm6 makes it run a little rich, and i wouldnt trust your autometer a/f gauge. 28mpg is the lowest i got with mine, usually it was a little higher. it slightly worsened from dpfi mileage.

little things that could make a big difference: do you have an adjustable FPR? your fuel pressure could be off. whats your timing set at? IMO it doesnt seem like you have a serious problem, i would check those minor things and say its good.

i do have an adjustable fpr, but its at 32 psi. which is lower than stock actually, i turned it down a bit to adjust for the even richer condition i had before i turned it down...I heard the pm6 was a bit of a fuel saver tho, thats why i went from a pr4 back to the pm6

try putting the stock FPR on there and see what happens. alot of fuel pressure gauges are bogus.

i tried that a while back and it made it worse, so i think my guage is right...I mean soon here im gonna be putting in my pr4 which i chipped and made a basemap with turboedit so im gonna try and just compensate for it that way, but i would still like to know what is causing it
