Am I Crazy?
It doesn't seem like much a a change in performance.
06 Audi 2.0t A3
207 HP
6.2 0-60
14.6@95.5 mph in the quarter
128 ft 60-0 braking
It seems like a RSX-S might be a little slower, but the $29,585 sticker price on the A3 compared with a RSX-S's sticker price, *ouch*

I had a 1990 audi RS2 and I wish I could get that car back. I had to sell it because I my wife and I had a kid but this thing was bad a$$! I had it turbo'd and was putting 350whp. However ever since I got my RSX a month ago I bought it because it is the closest thing to my audi coupe. I know the power is not there yet and I will not boost it but it is fun. tough decision but I would stick with the Audi.

So mod the A3 or get a RSX-S? ARGH. </TD></TR></TABLE>
What do you think of that DSG tranny overall. It looks/sounds cool as hell with the two clutches and the paddle shifting. Are you saying you like it at high speeds, but not in traffice?
Thanks

I like the DSG overall, but most of the time, I leave it in D and just drive around. It's a lot smoother just letting the computer shift unless I'm running hard. Then I put it into manual and shift using the paddles. When running hard, it seriously shifts and sounds like a WRC car. It's awesome when running hard, but boring when cruising around.

Thats cool, kind of the best of both worlds. Stupid question, but does it blip the throttle for you on the way down the gears?

WOW, so you have a hatch, with good power (and plenty more to be made) with a bad *** tranny and all wheel drive. I think I would learn to speak German.

I wish I had AWD. The 2.0T is FWD only. So far there are no plans for a quattro version because of some fuel tank issue. So for an AWD version of the A3, it's $5,000 more for the 3.2 S-line.
