hey bro'z i got a 97 integra gsr i am new to hondas or acuras the only thing i know about them is b18 b16 and b20 im thinking of doing a frank and go all motor but i heard from my friend that i need a ls block and a b16 head and told me that the car i bought is wrong for a lsvtec and saying that i shoulda bought a ls if i was gonna do a lsvtec is it better to just go gsr-t or do a frankie how long will the gsr last with boost is 4g'z enough can i drive it daily pushing 250-350hp can the block event handle that much lol like i said im a total noob to hondas and acuras i owned a mitsubishi, nissan and two trucks so far now it'z time for a acura help me out bro'z i want to still be the fastest in school when i come back and will 4g'z event get me anything good ?? shoot'z bro'z let me know what im getting my self into i hope with that money i can atleast pop 12 high or 13 low

 

yeah, read up in ALL of our forums. If you want low 13's a basic turbo kit and some practice should get you there.

 

couldn't really comprehend a lot of your post, but if you have four grand to spend, get a turbo kit and some tuning and a decent suspension

 

if you have 4k to spend right now cancel your account with honda tech, sell your car and invest in something that wont get stolen or will acutally make you money

but to answer, suspension first and function over form

Just look in the ITR forum if you need confirmation as to why the above advice is actually good advice.

 

You need to take that 4 grand and go as many english classes as you can .

If not that, do suspension.

What you should do is take it to the casino and put it on 22 BLACK. BAM! $140,000.

If you do not like that idea, like Blu99teg said, suspension is the best. One suspension mod that made a HUGE impact besides coilovers was a roll bar. You can barely feel the difference with strut bars, thicker sway bar makes a noticeable difference... but roll bar is the way to go. I'd rather have 1 roll bar over all my strut bars, tie bars & sways bar upgrades put together.

Anyways, you are 16, and you just happen to have an extra $4000 lying around? How's that work?

Be aware that if you choose to invest all that money in your car, you will never get it back. (IE putting $4000 worth of parts and modification into your car does not increase its value by $4000)

If so, 4g's is not enough for a great turbo kit, but with a lil bargain shopping and what not you could make it happen.

If you want an all around fun car, and are not worried about straight line performace, I can name a solid 2g's in suspension that would make the car amazing.

Otherwise, I would save another 1-2g's and do the Turbo project right. (Ball bearing turbo, tubular mani, 3inch DP and exhaust, Hondata or even AEM)

 

No lol i just wanna have fun with this car i respect it and all but i dont want people to look at me and say that the car im driving is loud for nothing or a rice rocket if i was to go turbo can you tell me what i would need to run safely?

My last two car'z that i have owned where turbo car'z. I have put a turbo onto a car before and i dont know if the stock fuel pump can supply enough or if the injector size is big enough or idk like i said im a total noob to hondas and acuras i have been reading a lot and learning but i want this thing done before summer vacation finishes

Anyways, I don't why you wanted to ls/vtec on your gsr. If you want I'll give you my LS engine for your GSR engine so you can do a ls/vtec build. Spend your money wisely like security on your car.

buy some good shocks like koni yellow..
and then put it all in to the engine..

 

you have more than enough money for a decent turbo set up and a good tune.
