so i was checking the spark plug wires off the distributor and theres some green stuff like power all over it..what can it be?

 

dirt? lol or something is growing in there..lol

clean it up and check few weeks later if its there again. replace the wire. or distributor cap.

 

Could be a mold or a fungus. Try giving your engine bay a good cleaning and it should go away.

 

Is it on the threads, or on the end where the wire connects?? It sounds like it is a form of oxydization(sp?). If it is between the boot and the plug get some new plugs, and maybe even new wires, re-instal everything, but get some of the electronic grease to help prevent this again.

 

thanx for the advice guys, just remembered that i put octane booster all the time so it might be that, also this guy that works in auto zone told me that he has the same problem with the octane booster, but its weird that i found it at the tip where it connects to the distributor cap, how can that be?..it HAS to be that octane bosster because ever since ive been putting that ive seen that crap all over the wires...
