I am debating on mounting them on the back of the OEM housings or somewherein the bay?

So that must still be legal in gerogia I assume? I would mount them on the engine bay side of the inner fender (near the battery and same location on the other side). Just because it will be better protected from outside elements (rain, sand, salt).

I would definately be sure to check. Here in Virginia a car can't have HID if it was not an option for that vehicle.

A lot of the cars that come out of our shop have the ballasts put behind the bumper and up high. They can't be seen there but yet they are still pretty protected. I will try and get a pic of where mine are located.

 

what size are the bulbs for the 2003-2006 accords?
