Default problem with my butterfly valve

my car has been running rich for a while and i think i found the problem. when my car is at idle the butterfly valve throtle is all the way up. then when i turn my car off the throtle on the butterfly valve shoots all the way down. correct me if i'm wrong, but when the car is at idle isnt the throtle suppose to be about halfway open. what could be wrong with my motor???? right know i have the butterfly vaccum hose closed off and i'm running the other vacumm hose from the fpr to the back of the IM and i feel a big loss of power

when u turn on your car if the butterfly valve lever moves then you know your butterflies are activated and you are fine. dont mess up anything else. can u hear it open at 5700 RPMs?

this is 99teg i had to make another account cause of that stupid 5 posts a day ****.

but anyway the butterfly valve stays open, and i could hear it open all the way when i just have the ignition key on before i start the car. it makes a weird noise and i could hear more pressure building up in the fuel rail. i know its suppose to open at 5700 when the vtec kicks in. but it fully opens before i even turn my car on.

i found the problem so if anyone has any problems with it similar to mine. it was the sensor that is screw'd on to the black vaccum box. it was sending the wrong signal or some **** to the ecu
