right know i am mainly trying to get the motor built to handle my power goals. I want to build the motor to handle 250-300 whp. Here are the parts i plan on using......
Bottem End
JE Pistons 9:5.1
Eagle Rods
ARP head Studs
ARP Main Bolts
ARP Rod Bolts
Balanced & Mircopolished Crank
All OEM Bearings and Gaskets
Head
Can i get away with a stock head? Just have it reconditioned? or should i build it?
PnP, valves, cam, Ect.?
What kind of head gasket should i go with?
What do you all recommend i do with the head?

There are just ton's of posts/threads with setups. And entire sites dedicated to the turboD.... turbod16.org.
Personally my next piston set will be Wiesco... I'm using Vitaras in my beater and they work... but are loud
Why so much ARP hardware? Eagles will have their own arp, oem mains tend to be fine from all the builds I seen/helped with, and the Head studs are always nice of course.
Head... you can get it freshed up. I'd say get it checked for worn valve guides and if needed have them redone. 3angle valve job. new valve seals and if you really want... porting/polishing or just port matching. Also consider a cam for it.
Headgasket... OEM.
On a side note.. my friends car just was in your power goals with stock freshened head and srp/eagle bottom end. ACL bearings I think and just a general cleanup of all gaskets and such. 42/60 t3 combo (i think i have housing sizes right...
