How do i clean injectors?
hey guys i have a set of dsm injectors form a 90 tsi. im just wondering if anyone can give me some ideas on how to clean them. for instance like soak them in a solvent or some kind of cleaner? any pointers will help.

Ive seen a video of a guy do it before, I think it was on HMT.
He connected the injector to a power supply (with a resistor inline) and cranked the voltage just enough to open the injector. He then took his injector and fitted a rubber hose over the inlet port, filled the hose with injector cleaner, then attached the othe end of hte hose to a bike hand pump.
Turn on the power supply to open the injector, and forced the cleaner through the injector.

Cruzin' Performance - Haven't used them personally but I've seen their name recommended enough to remember it when I'm ready to clean mine. And their price is nice too.

yeah, if I'd have known about them 2 years ago, I wouldnt have gone through the trouble of building my own flow bench lol.
I built mine based off of this guy's but I did a few things differently like adding a timer to it so I had the injector flow time exact and I used different graduated cylinders and such:
