Default GSR CIVIC C.E.L. CODE 43 (any suggestions?) :)

I recently had a b18c JDM GSR motor installed in my 1990 honda civic SI. The swap was done almost flawlessly but I am now getting a check engine light. I believe the ECU is a P72 (OBD-1) And when i cross the two wires for diagnostics I am getting a code 43.

First question, Will code 43 cause my engine to run poorly or in "limp mode"

Second question, Does ANYONE have any suggestions or things to try to fix this.

(was considering replacing O2 Sensor)

Thank you all very much for your time.

Ok so if its not the O2 sensor, does anyone have any suggestions on how to diagnose/fix the problem ?

I know its a technical question but any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

The service manual will have you check fuel pressure and the o2 sensor. Most of the time when I have diag'd this code it was an o2 related problem. Is there are harness converter for obd0-obd1 involved? Is the o2 sensor a 4 wire?

Search and you shall see. Don't just assume things cause you think they sound correct. mine have been from crappy bosch sensors

There is a rywire conversion harness being used, it IS a four wire O2 sensor. I just pulled another O2 sensor off a 95 civic at the scrap yard so im gonna swap em out and see if it makes a difference. Any other advice would still be appreciated, thnx for all the help so far.

Yeah I have, and I have followed the steps that Honda once payed me to do. You follow the manual and diagnose the problem.

9 times out of 10 is not 100% , I'm just stating what the code is.
