Default Startling Problem...battery being drained out?

This is something that has happened to me only about 4 times in total of the 5 months I've had it already. Now, it seems to me, that it only happens after I've driven around for some time, then stood in idle for some time, then turned off the car and left it alone for some time. Say for example, if I drove to a Taco Bell drive through, long line or whatever, stood there for about 10 minutes, I see my engine temperature actually go up to the red, and until it hits red I don't hear the fan go on, so then I drive up (slow speed, slow rpm), and decide to park in the parking lot to eat my food. I park, and turn off the car, and eat for about 15 minutes. After the car is off, I'll hear the fan go on and off a few times. Then when I go to start the car, it tries to start but won't actually rev up. After a few attempts, it finally starts. Now here's what I'm thinking, from the observation I did today (since I actually have free time from work/school today), I think that when the fan turns on (only the left fan turns on), theres some kind of clicking where all the fuses are under the hood. I don't know if thats normal. But I think the fan keeps turning on until the engine cools off, and it turns on for a good few minutes then turns off, and does this about 4-5 times. I think the fan is draining out my battery, wihch is why it's hard for the car to start after some idling. Only after idling though, because that's when my engine actually heats up when I'm in place, since the fan only turns on when I have my A/C on, or when the engine already reaches the red on the temperature gauge. Any ideas on what I can do to test this theory? Or anyone else have any ideas on what it might be?

Some pictures of the fuse unit, maybe something wrong with that causing the issue? I mean should the fuses be making any kind of clicking/scratching noises?

for the clicking noise, its just the sound which your relay makes, no worries there. When you are at idle as compared to when you are in motion, there is no wind blowing which is the cause of the overheating.
Seems like the hot coolant isn't flowing into the required places of your engine. could be a stuck thermostat.
