89 crx mil light, need help
my friend's crx has the mil light on. we took it for a drive got the light to come on. then we jump the wires and the check engine light didn't start blinking. i was wondering how exactly you check the codes on the obd0 systems?
On obdo you have to check the # of times the l.e.d. light flashes on the computer. Search a lil on htech and you can get the codes. They are the same for all obd0 comps.
mil means "malfuntion indicator lamp" also known as the check engine light. service engine soon light. cil so on. so i have to watch the led on the computer huh. cool thanks for the help. are the codes betwwen obd1 andobd0 the same

thanks smart ***. i just forgot that the gay *** obd0 flashed a led and not the check engine light like obd1 and obd2 models. and for years the cel is a license for truck drivers not an abbreviation for a check engine light. you might want to start with the whole research thing.

let me get this right you are a n00b, been around cars your entire life, and 4 years of tech training, i think thats enough to know how to check a cel and not get obd1 and obd0 mixed up. And you said you "jumped" a wire what wire would that be the imaginary ones that obd0 cars dont have? Your stupid and talk out of your *** and your a tool and you need to learn how to search and with the way you act to other people on this board i think you will get banned soon so hey who cares im done with you have a good day...
