i've always made my own exhaust systems using a magnaflow or dynomax muffler. I prefer a 2.25 magnaflow oval

eS mufflers are like Magnaflows but come in a polished finish, also come in flat black, but anyone can respray their magnaflow and it will look pretty much the same, and they sound super nice on Civics. Search for es oval muffler

A friend has full flowmaster exhaust and that thing sounds so deep, not raspy, just deep as hell. Magnaflow is awesome too, proven stuff

Ractive

they are very good for 4 cylinder applications, when i had it and ONLY it, even with a bad cat ALL my friends were impressed with the sound and stuff. it didn't give me a noticeable power increase though, but thats cause it was on a stock EG LX SOHC Non VTEC piece of crap engine

are you kidding RACTIVE omg that falls in to the same crappy category as APC.
The ES Oval, Magnaflow, Dynomax, Tanabe, Apexi are all good.

yeah ok, rocking my car for a year with a Ractive muffler speaks for itself, and a shop that works on exhaust tell me from thier own mouths that it is a very good muffler, not to mention whenever i cut it off and gave it to my friend, it sounded gangster on his car too and actually made his a bit faster.

my buddy with a Prelude will tell you from his own mouth that my 2.5" tipped little black chrome ractive muffler was better then his 4.5" universal that he bought for the same price, and on a more powerful motor at that.
