Hey, I provided some Toyota Sequoia master blasted air conditioning to a couple of editors of some noted import magazines at Willow Springs this weekend. I didn't want to see them turned into steamed rice so I offered up some chill. Ryan McKay of Import Tuner, who was one of them, had a cool turboed Miata that I got to drive. And to you pundits out there, no, I didn't do any offroad landscaping. 
BTW, Ryan wrote a pretty good article about DIY alignment by stringing your own car in the same issue where Andrie's Civic appeared. He had to convince the main honch at Import Tuner to get the article published since we all know what usually gets published in IT - and it's usually not the cool tech stuff. So send in your email to the editors of these mags and let them know you like the racecar stuff like the Andriemobile and useful tech stuff.

Johnny Mac is right. I thought Ryan's article is well written. I enjoyed it. Let's keep pushing the magazine to write more about race car or race related stuff.

I think it was about half way (around 20 minutes left). The announcers mention "Andrie Hartanto in the Redzone, Rota Wheels Civic" and how the motor blew and that Stasis let us use the shop to do the swap. Kinda surprised they found out about that!

Andrie's PR man/woman must have been knocking down the Speed WC broadcasting doors to get a little message delivered. Andrie, you should give your PR person a raise.

Yep, it is all because of John Thawley. He is the man!!! I'm hiring him for all my PR work. I heard he likes to be fed well. No cash though, as I'm strapped for cash as well.
