Default vibration while accelerating

Hi,

New to the forums. Have read some great stuff here, you guys have an awesome forum going.

My question is about a vibration I am experiencing. I've done a mild search on the forum and didnt find anything. I have a 1996 civic DX 4dr non-abs. I replaced my front axels earlier this week, everything went fine. Had to chase some threads and tap a nut, but other than that it went smooth. Got the axels from autozone.

The vibration was only noticed after this replacement. It is a low frequency vibration, and I really only notice it >40MPH, although this may be due to the low frequency.

At any rate, where can I look?
I checked tire pressure.
Balancing?
Alignment?
Bent rim?
Did I get a bent axel?

Thanks for your time.

Do you notice it above 40mph or below?

Do you have performance tires?

i tend to agree. if the vibration was not present, then ther eafter the axle swap, then the axles are junk. i have gotten brand new axles drom dss over the years with the same symptoms.

Thanks for the replies.

I really don't notice it below 40.

No, not performance tires.

OK, if autozone parts are ****, can either of you two recommend a place to get parts other than the dealer?

Thanks
