is there any possibility that 93 teg 2dr seats will bolt right into a 93 civic hatch, or is it gonna be mount makin time?

front or rear seats??

I tried putting a full seat set from a 91 teg LS into my 93 hatch the other month.

the back seats fit nicely but you have to modify mounts. the lower seat slip-points have to be widened for the teg seat as well as a new hole drilled for the rear lower hold-down.

you have to move the middle upper bracket over to the right side of the car about 4" and use civic sedan seat brackets.

the front seats are the nightmare. You have to remove the big seat belt assembly from the insides of the seats and even then only 2 of the four bolts line up. You cant swap rails or pans due to the seats being the older style that is panless.

I just ended up selling my set off after realizing this and that it would be too much work and went a different route with seats.

 

thanks, i guess i'll have to just see how bad it is in the front. I can make new mounts and stuff, just have to see how close. which two bolts worked? I had them in my wagon for awhile with some brackets. nice to know the rears can be made to work.

 

after taking the seatbelt assemblies off the front seats, I could get the front right and back left in the bolt holes if I manhandled the seats. the other two would have to be cut/rewelded at different angles and it looked like it would bind the outer seat track so I just said to hell with it.
