Default Diming and Dieing............?

ok so these are the things added and changed!

* Battery (got last March)
*Alternator (put in about 3 weeks away)
* New Negative Battery Wire (and Changed Location to Engine Block)
* Added two Ground Wires to the Engine

Ok now i had my 93 Accord for now over a year and back in Oct is when my car first died for no reason at all. i let it sit for a minute or two and then it started right up. so i put it away for the winter and durning the winter my car wouldnt hold a charge for nothing. my alternator was gone. so i replaced it. but my problem now is. when driving even when the fan turns on i see the headlights dim. when am driving and i get to a stop sign or a red light i feel the RPM a little low like the car wants to shut off. when the car is on Idle and lets say i press the bottom for the windows or the locks i feel the power go down a little. and if i was to leave my door open lets say 5 to 10minutes then my car will be died. and even at times out of no were for no reason it will die if i try to start it up.

i have tooken out my System so i dont even have my radio connected. cuz i know with my system on i woludnt be able to go anywere. the car was fine and out of no were this has started. what can this possible be??

Anyone have this problem before? what did u do for it? or anyone coluld think of maybe what it could be?

turn your key to "on" and listen for the main relay to click off when the check engine light goes off. If not I would suspect your main relay is stuck on.
But either way you have one heck of a parasitic draw. or your battery is no good.
It would be best to put a multimeter on the battery terminals and moniter the voltage with the engine running, with lights and fan running, and with the car off.
Let uys know what you figure out.

well i did a draw test with my battery and the light came on but when i took out the (back up Radio) fuse the light on the tester went off. but then again thats the fuse that holds the radio memory and the Clock on the dash so i would think it would be on. but i road my car with the fuse out and it still would do the same thing. ok u say maybe the main relay but wouldnt i only have a problem with turning on the car and whatever else and not while am riding?

also. i got the battery checked and they said it was fine so thats out ..

ok i did the turn the key to on thing. i really didnt here much cuz when i do it the door locks shut so there pretty loud. i did here a little click tho. the only light that stayed on when all the rest went off was the battery one and the seat belt one. and then i would turn on the car. and the battery light would go off.

but then again am also having a problem with my fans that stay on about 3 to 10 minutes depending how long i rid after i turn off the car so am pretty sure that doesnt help my damn cause either. so ya thats my other problem.

There is quite obviously a draw somewhere on the car. From what it sounds like, it must be related to the fans. My best guess would be to check all the fan wiring, all the fuses and relays that have any relation to the fans.

Just to confirm, you did a battery test and it came out good? That's the only thing I can think of other than a draw.

I would check your ground wires again from the battery and make sure they are not corroded and have good solid contact and also if your battery terminals are corroded replace them with new ones.

well ya i did a draw test on the battery. the light had came on and when i took out the backup radio it turned off. but i would think that is normal because the holds the memory for the dash clock and radio resets and everything else. and also i have checked my fuses and everything is fine. but how would i check my fan wires? and what kind of wiring do they have and also??

would a computer check be able to find out the problem?? cuz i know its a full eletric computer check.

Highly doubtful that running a diagnostic test will tell you any more than you already know. Basically all you can do is look for any wiring relevant to the cooling system and see if there are any issues there. If you are not very confident or don't know how to do this I'd suggest you talk to someone who knows more about wiring to see if they can better help you out.
