Default port morting?

Anyone ever port matched something before? I picked up a b18 throttle body (60mm) compared to my stock d16 (52mm). Instead of buying the skunk2 manifold, I want to port match my intake manifold. Not the runners, but just where it connects to the throttle body until it hits the first runner, if that makes sense. So, would you recommend getting it done professionally, and where? or, do it myself - and how?

thanks

You haven't told us anything about the motor. What are your goals? What mods do you have?

If it's just I/H/E, that oversized tb and port matching the IM is only going to hurt you.

i wouldnt say it will hurt the peak HP but will kill your bottom end tq and throttle response. OP, do it yourself if you have a steady hand, lay the gasket on the IM trace it with something and start dremeling it away.

so you recommend just staying stock throttle body and manifold (d16) & that would almost be better? even for a goal of 250whp?
